As part of a wider refurbishment project in partnership with Pulse Fitness, EXF has recently supplied and installed a bespoke functional training rig at Nottingham Trent University. Nottingham Trent University was looking upgrade the facilities at its Clifton Campus gym to create a high quality, robust health and fitness environment.

With an ever-growing community, the university was looking for a supplier to provide high-quality equipment that not only looked great but also delivered on performance. EXF was able to deliver a completely bespoke functional training rig capable of withstanding the rigours of a high use facility.

Proving no job is too difficult, the team had to create the rig in an area with three main structural pillars.  The 14-metre rig created by EXF includes four integrated performance half racks, a high section for ropes as well as a full monkey bars set, which is 10 metres in length and integrated storage facilities. The rig was also completely colour matched to the university’s branding with pink attachments.

“We were delighted to have worked with Pulse Fitness on this project and to supply Nottingham Trent University with a completely bespoke solution that has been built to last,” says Business Development Director, Ben Steadman. “We’re seeing a rising demand for creating dedicated functional training spaces and with our experience, we have created a fantastic rig that makes functional training more accessible.”

The facility has also benefited from brand new cardio and strength equipment supplied by Pulse Fitness.
